STAUB
STAUB was founded in 1974 by Francis Staub in Alsace. This region of eastern France is known for its traditional craftsmanship and excellent cuisine. The stork in the STAUB logo has always stood as a symbol of Alsace and testifies to the regional roots, the character and the identity of the company. Even today, all their cast iron products are made in France. But STAUB sets world-wide standards: Many world-famous chefs, including Paul Bocuse, prefer the brand STAUB. Their products are guaranteed to be of impeccable quality and have proven themselves in everyday use in the kitchens of renowned restaurants as well as those of private households. In June 2008, STAUB became a member of the German corporate group ZWILLING, the specialist for high-quality knives and kitchen utensils.
